Refurbished computers
Old computers are stripped and cleaned, then rebuilt to a high standard. These computers are then passed on at low cost to people on low incomes. This enables people who are training to practice at home - helping with educational study work. All systems are tested for hardware and software capabilities.

Our computer project provides Open College Network accredited training. Giving the learner a basic computer refurbishing and dismantling competence and includes training in the safe use of equipment, identifying and using a range of tools, preparation and planning. This enables learners to complete work to a high standard.

Recycled Computers
Damaged computer parts or nonfunctional equipment such as circuit boards and disc drives are recycled to obtain their raw materials. This process reduces the waste going to landfill sites, helping the environment.

Collections & Deliveries
We provide a collection and delivery service to the Oswestry, North Shropshire & Shrewsbury Furniture Schemes, who are our SHOFUR members. This enables people to donate unwanted computer systems to their local Furniture Scheme, allowing us to collect from one single point. Deliveries of ordered computers can be made in conjunction with collections.

Our Volunteer Support
and Development Project ...enables us to mentor, support and train volunteers from disadvantaged groups and CED wards. Enabling them to access employment in a range of activities including computer recycling.

We also accept enquiries from the general public interested in owning a refurbished computer.

The computers are not supplied with software when delivered.
