Donate Furniture/Items

Use the form below to tell us about the unwanted furniture or items you’d like to donate or telephone 01584 877788.  If you can bring it to us that would be great, as you’ll help us out and save us money, but we are able to offer a free pick-up service. See here for area collection days

We also accept items to be recycled which can be dropped off at any of our sites.

We also accept clothes, crockery, towels, bedding and jewellery which can be picked up at the same time as your furniture donation!

There are 3 things to remember before you get started:

How donating furniture works at the Furniture Scheme

When you fill out this form, we will contact you to confirm your donation. We can pick up donations Monday to Friday between 9am – 4pm or donations can be dropped off at our Warehouse during opening hours only please (Monday to Thursday 9am – 1pm, Friday 9am – 4pm & Saturday 10am – 2pm).

We’re lucky enough to have lots of donations (thank you!) but that does mean we are busy so we may not be able to collect until the following week.

We can only accept goods that are in a good quality condition, suitable for reuse. Unfortunately we are no longer able to accept large TV’s, only flat screen TV’s.

If you are donating sofas, armchairs, mattresses or divan beds they must have the fire safety label attached. They’re usually attached to your sofa behind the cushions. If these items do not have one, unfortunately we cannot accept it.

For more information on items we accept please see our How does it work page.

One final thing…

If you are a UK taxpayer the value of your donation can be increased by 25% at no extra cost to you!

Don’t worry it’s really simple, all you need to do is tick ‘yes’ in the Gift Aid section below, and when our driver visits, he’ll need your signature on our Gift Aid form. See an example to the left. Thanks for helping us!
