Just a few of the comments received after the Christmas Day lunch which was held at CasCA.
Dear Ali and all the crew at the Community Centre, many thanks for all the care and effort put into the lovely Christmas dinner the whole afternoon was amazing. Thanks also for the goody parcel. You helped make our Christmas.
Dear Friends, Thank you so much for inviting me to your Christmas Day Festivities, I very much enjoyed being with you and thought the friendship and companionship at CasCA was very welcoming. The Christmas lunch was very good and excellent service from you all. Thanks a lot.
Dear Ali and Friends, Thank you for all your hard work making the Community Christmas lunch such a tremendous success. I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed the food and the company.
Dear Ali, Marilyn & all the Christmas Team, Thank you for the welcome, the meal and all the trimmings they made a wonderful day to remember.
Rosanna Taylor-Smith, Shropshire Councillor Ludlow North
I should like to add my personal congratulations to you and your team for running such an important and successful organisation. South Shropshire is really fortunate that SSFS exists and provides such a valuable service to residents.

Speaking for myself my time spent here in Craven Arms Community Centre has been great, there are always plenty of activities on. Even if just coming in for a chat or a coffee and cake. I would definitely recommend the coffee cake. The company e.g. Maria and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Talk given to Churches Together Around Ludlow (CTAL)
On behalf of the CTAL lunch group, I want to thank you so much for coming to talk to us and bringing your slide show. I’m glad you ignored my 10 – 15 minute advice! It went very well and everyone was really interested and pleased to have heard all that goes on at Rockspring and under the Furniture Scheme ‘banner
I hope some people will feel inspired to help out in one way or another and to tell their friends about it. It has educated us more on the subject of ‘Ludlow in Need’ and it’s so good to hear about all your projects and your enthusiasm, which was infectious.

I have been a strong supporter of South Shropshire Furniture Scheme since I first came across it 10 years ago. It is now well established as one of the largest social enterprise entities in Shropshire doing invaluable work in training young people and helping those in need.
Councillor Tracey Huffer
Ludlow Furniture scheme CEO Jean Jarvis, and dedicated team, through a lot of hard work have transformed Rockspring centre into a lively, brilliant Community hub of activity.
There is always a friendly, welcoming face to greet you as you enter the building and once inside there is so much going on.
The community can now be proud of its centre, and I personally feel its a pleasure to be part of the now and the future as it moves continually forward. A big thanks to all that make it happen.
The Rockspring Community Centre is like a second home to me.
